10th Regional Steering Committee Meeting

The RSC meeting is an important annual event attended by MFF Regional Steering Committee members to discuss MFF programme updates and MFF plans for the following year.

On September 2013, the RSC members shall meet and discuss new directions for the MFF initiative in 2014-2018.

The tentative meeting agenda highlights:

• A Learning Event that will introduce global and regional perspectives of the "Resilience Approach", and how this approach is used by MFF
• A "Visioning workshop" to discuss MFF's strategy addressing: ocean-wide governance; new levels of knowledge management; national capacity development; private sector engagement; and a sustainable financing plan beyond donor funding

A study tour visit is being prepared to showcase MFF projects in the vicinity of Hoi An. An optional visit is also being prepared for the Cu Lau Cham Marine Protected Area.
